Superior by Tradition

FAMILY, LAND, QUALITY

Our winery has been working the vineyards on the hills of Valdobbiadene for generations.

On steep slopes, we cultivate the vines with the utmost respect for this land, bringing the fruit of a great passion to the cellar.

We want Gallina Roberto wines to be a true representation of this extraordinary land and its long winemaking tradition.

VALDOBBIADENE prosecco superiore DOCG

The excellence of grapes from the hills

The hills

The Conegliano Valdobbiadene Denomination is an area included in only 15 Municipalities, characterized by strings of hills where vineyards alternate with woods and meadows.

Thanks to the unique history and conformation, which is the result of a centuries-old collaboration between man and nature, the Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene have been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The grapes

The main grape variety used for Gallina Roberto wines is Glera.

Glera is an ancient and native variety of these hills, it has large and long white berried bunches, with golden berries.

In order to be defined as Valdobbiadene DOCG, a sparkling wine must contain at least 85% Glera grapes.

The winery

Our winery is nestled among the historic hills of Santo Stefano, a small fraction of Valdobbiadene. Roberto guides our entire production process, from the manual harvest to bottling and conservation.

The tasting room, in a familiar setting, offers our beloved guests a unique experience.

Our vineyards, our home

ANCIENT VINEYARDS, WORKED BY HAND

From pruning, to mowing the grass, to harvesting, most of the operations we carry out in the vineyard are done manually, with dedication and patience, following the rhythm of nature.

We use traditional techniques, handed down from fathers, grandparents and great-grandparents, but at the same time we are always embracing modern sector studies, allowing us to respect the hills and vineyards, while maintaining excellent production quality, from grapes to wine.
